Adding Texture

I find lime plastering highly effective in adding great texture to a room, with great light the textures will move throughout the day and if a sympathetic paint is used like a farrow and ball or a little green the shadows will skip and change as the light changes. Although it needs to be applied by a specialist , in historic buildings it is hugely effective, especially where ceiling heights tend to be low and a wallpaper can make a small room seem claustrophobic. It has a charm and warmth and truly defines a rustic feel.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
