Biography:
Painter. E. Oehlmayer signs. He began his studies at the Professional School of Rio Claro, with Carlos Hadler. Later, when he moved to São Paulo, he had the guidance of the masters Antônio Rocco and
Amadeo Scavone. Of the various exhibitions in which he presented himself, we can point out the most significant ones, in which he received awards: at the Salão Paulista de Belas Artes, where he obtained an Honorable Mention (1939). Small Silver Medal (1940), São Paulo City Hall Award (1946),
Great Silver Medal (1949), State Governor Award (1953) and the Legislative Assembly Award (1962), at the Salão Nacional de Belas Artes, Rio de Janeiro Janeiro, winning Bronze Medal (1947), Panamerican Art Salon, at the Rio Grande do Sul Institute of Fine Arts, Porto Alegre (1958). He performed solo in
São Paulo (1941). He also exhibited in several cities in other states, with
great success. In 1970 SOCIARTE exhibited 56 works by the artist, in posthumous homage. He has paintings in several private collections in Brazil, abroad and at the Pinacoteca de Rio Claro.
